Umbrellas are essential tools for going out, but some details need attention during use and maintenance to ensure their lifespan and performance. Here are some umbrella maintenance methods:

1. Cleaning: Wash the umbrella thoroughly with soap and warm water, and dry it with a clean cloth. Avoid using cleaners containing alcohol or other chemicals, as these may damage the umbrella fabric.

2. Drying: Hang the umbrella in a well-ventilated and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight. When drying, slightly lift the umbrella ribs to allow rainwater to drain out, preventing damage to the canopy.

3. Storage: Store the umbrella in a dry, well-ventilated place, avoiding moisture, direct sunlight, or rain. The gaps between the canopy and the ribs can be filled with compressed air or a dry towel to prevent moisture.

4. Repair: If the umbrella develops cracks, tears, or other damage, it should be repaired or replaced promptly.

5. Keep Dry: Avoid placing the umbrella in damp or water-drenched areas to prevent rust and rot.
