The heyu graphite heating element vacuum furnace uses graphite rods or graphite strips as the resistance heating elements, radiating heat into a hot face lined with rigid graphite felt and carbon-fiber insulation. The all-graphite hot zone is the enabling choice for processes that must reach 2400°C, because molybdenum elements would soften and vaporize long before that range. Graphite heaters also offer fast ramp rates, high thermal conductivity, and good resistance to thermal shock, and they operate cleanly under high vacuum and in inert or reducing atmospheres. The furnace chamber reaches 2×10⁻⁴ Pa with a pressure rise rate of ≤0.67 Pa/h, and the optimized heater arrangement holds temperature uniformity at ±3 to ±7.5°C across the workload. Because the hot face is all-carbon, it is the standard configuration for sintering tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and ceramic-matrix composites.
We tailor the hot zone to your process: choose graphite elements for 2400°C service or switch to molybdenum elements when you need a carbon-free environment, and our 6-engineer R&D team lays out the heater geometry and felt stacking to match your workload shape. Custom sample development takes about 30 days, and we build to your technical drawings or prototypes. In practice, that graphite hot face ramps quickly to temperature and absorbs repeated power cycles without element cracking, while the felt stack keeps the water jacket cool enough to extend seal and pump life across years of 2400°C campaigns.

Application Fields
Tungsten, molybdenum, and tantalum sintering
Only an all-graphite hot zone reliably reaches 2000–2400°C without element sag or vapor contamination, which is the range refractory metals need for full densification.
Ceramic matrix and carbide composites
Carbon felt insulation keeps heat storage low and wall temperatures safe, while the graphite heater delivers the high temperatures required for advanced ceramic sintering.
High-temperature brazing of refractory metals
Graphite elements hold temperature steadily through long high-temperature holds, giving consistent braze fillets on tungsten and molybdenum assemblies.
Customization
Graphite or molybdenum hot zone, hot-zone dimensions, insulation thickness, maximum temperature (up to 2400°C), and atmosphere package are all configurable. We manufacture to customer drawings and offer ODM development.
Packaging & Transportation
We support EXW and FOB. Equipment is packed according to international export requirements based on the nature of the actual goods.
